About The Event

National Doctors Cricket League – Chandigarh Edition, Season 1 (NDCL Chandigarh 2026) brings together doctors from across the region for a five-day T20 cricket tournament from 21 to 25 October 2026. The tournament is designed around competitive cricket, fair play, camaraderie and the spirit of sport, bringing doctors out of hospitals and onto the cricket field. The Chandigarh edition features 24 teams, more than 320 doctor cricketers, 15-member squads and 46 competitive matches across Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. Every team is scheduled to receive at least one night match, while the tournament format includes group-stage fixtures followed by knockout stages and a grand final. The tournament features six groups of four teams, with three league matches guaranteed for participating teams. The competition progresses through the qualifying and knockout stages before the grand final. The grand final is scheduled at PCA Mohali on 25 October 2026, with the final also planned for live nationwide streaming and live scoring. NDCL Chandigarh 2026 highlights professional playing standards, including Umpire and match-official arrangements, new white leather balls for innings, ICC-aligned playing conditions, Super Over provisions for tied matches, DLS for rain-affected matches, and live points-table and net-run-rate tracking. The tournament is specifically designed for registered medical professionals. Player eligibility information states that participants must be registered MBBS doctors, with a maximum combined allowance of two players from the listed BDS graduate, MBBS intern and MBBS student categories. Valid registration and identification are mandatory. Alongside the cricket action, player facilities include quality meals and refreshments, medical support at grounds, live match coverage and professional playing conditions. Awards are planned for the champions, runners-up, third-place team, Man of the Series, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder. Terms & Policies

Participation is subject to the official NDCL tournament rules and eligibility requirements. The tournament is scheduled from 21 to 25 October 2026. Players must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified by the organisers. Valid registration and identification are mandatory for eligible participants. The maximum combined allowance of BDS graduates, MBBS interns and MBBS students is subject to the tournament's stated eligibility rules. Teams must comply with the prescribed squad-size and registration requirements. Match fixtures, venues and timings are subject to the official tournament schedule. Players and teams must follow the applicable cricket laws and tournament playing conditions. Super Over and DLS provisions will apply where required under the tournament rules. The organisers may modify match schedules or venues due to weather, ground conditions or other operational requirements. All participants must follow instructions from umpires, match officials, organisers and venue authorities. Medical support provided at the grounds does not replace the participant's responsibility to disclose relevant information where required. Awards and individual recognitions are subject to official tournament results and organiser rules. Live streaming, photography and video recording may take place during matches. Participants are responsible for their personal equipment and belongings. Any changes to the tournament schedule or arrangements will be communicated by the organisers where applicable.
