Hand Pottery Workshop
About The Event
Discover the joy of working with clay at the Hand-Building Pottery Workshop in Chandigarh, a creative and beginner-friendly experience by Deepakriti Institute of Creative Arts. Designed as an introductory pottery session, this workshop offers participants an opportunity to slow down, get creative and enjoy the hands-on process of shaping clay. The workshop focuses on hand-building pottery, allowing participants to work directly with clay using simple techniques rather than relying on a pottery wheel. You will get to mould, shape and work with the clay while exploring the soothing and tactile nature of pottery making. No previous pottery or art experience is required. The session follows an “Art is for Everyone” approach, making it suitable for beginners who want to try pottery in a welcoming and relaxed environment. The two-hour experience is designed not only as a creative activity but also as an opportunity to unwind, experiment and enjoy the process without the pressure of technical perfection. Participants will have access to the required premium art materials at the venue, allowing them to concentrate on creating their own clay piece. You can explore your ideas, work with the material at your own pace and create a personalised handmade piece to take home. The workshop is suitable for participants aged 8 years and above and is conducted in English and Hindi. It can be an engaging activity for individuals, friends and families looking for a creative experience in Chandigarh. Whether you are curious about pottery, interested in handmade crafts, or simply looking for a new artistic activity, the Hand-Building Pottery Workshop provides an opportunity to experience the fundamentals of working with clay in a guided setting. Come ready to get your hands into clay, experiment with shapes and enjoy the creative process.
